AIGA Minnesota’s Event Participation and Refund Policy was approved by the AIGA MN Board in 2025.

• For the purposes of this policy “participant” is considered the ticket purchaser.
• For group purchases the “participant” is the individual that purchased the tickets for the group. Only “participants” can request refunds.

Due to nonrefundable costs associated with hosting the event such as registration software, volunteer resources, food/beverage minimums and space/venue rental, not all requests will be full refunds. AIGA MN requires all cancellation requests be made by the purchaser and sent to registration@aigaminnesota.org.

Refund timing breakdown:

• Requests up to four weeks prior to event: Full refund
• Requests up to two weeks prior to event: Full refund less $50 cancellation fee
• Requests up to the event: Full refund less $100 cancellation fee
• Requests post event: No refund

Absentee participants that have not submitted a refund request within the timeframes stated above are not eligible for refunds. If the participant feels there are extenuating circumstances involved, then a written appeal must be submitted to registration@aigaminnesota.org for review by AIGA MN Leadership. This does not guarantee the participant a refund. Refund requests that fall outside the AIGA MN Event Refund Policy as outlined above are at the discretion of AIGA MN Leadership to approve. Appeals will not be accepted 14 days after the conclusion of the event. No Exceptions.

AIGA MN is not responsible for the cancellation of any travel/lodging arrangements made in association with the event. Changes and or cancellation of those arrangements are the exclusive responsibility of the participant.

Please kindly direct all refund questions to registration@aigaminnesota.org. As we are a volunteer run organization, we will respond as soon as we are able, but please allow 2-7 business days for a response, especially during the week of the event. The initial date we received your request to registration@aigaminnesota.org will be honored.
