Claire Johnston is a graphic designer and print specialist, going on seven years. After receiving a BFA in Graphic Design, with a double minor in Interior Environments and Interdisciplinary Design, she dove into high-craft, pressure-based print by joining Studio on Fire. Initially as Press operator and later as Pressroom Lead, she managed nine operators and helped the revered print shop win many awards. Claire now operates Kluges, Saroglias, and Heidelbergs at Franklin Press. When paper isn’t pressing, she tackles never ending house projects, spoils her two kitties, pours her heart out on the pitch with her soccer team, and exercises her creative training and talent with freelance design.
